Ending the Realities of Summer Learning Loss
Decades of research have proven that lack of high-quality summer learning programs negatively impacts the academic achievement, health, and social development of all children, In fact, most youth lose about two months of math skills during the summer break, and in certain cases, lose more than two months in reading achievement.

Voyager's summer school and extended-day intervention are built around the students' needs for engaging programs that create high interest, encourage consistent attendance and invite active participation.

The programs:

maintain a strong academic focus and offer acceleration.
include rich, hands-on learning opportunities.

provide small-group and individual instruction as part of the learning experience.

recognize and highlight student motivation and access.
include family connections and services.

Everyday English offers a rich oral language experience by incorporating six everyday scenarios (School, Mall, Home, Neighborhood, Grocery Store, and My Day). In just six weeks, students are introduced to the sounds of the English language, gain knowledge of core vocabulary and build oral fluency.
TimeWarp® Plus promotes results-driven, hands-on learning with high-interest, academically challenging content for students in grades K-9. Students discover ancient cultures and uncover fascinating secrets as their curriculum takes them back in time and across thousands of miles.
Vmath® Summer Adventure provides powerful instructional tools that target the essential concepts and skills students must master before moving to the next grade level in math.
The Adventure Series comprises four exciting programs: Kaleidoscope, Media Magic, American Dream, and Mysteries. The series provides a broad spectrum of interesting cross-curricular activities designed to enhance learning. Students explore the world around them through various multimodal lessons, engaging content and lessons in science, social studies, and the arts.
In Houston, more than 40,000 students participated in summer programs, and more than 2000 teachers received Voyager training. I highly recommend the Voyager curriculum. The program has enriched the lives of children and is one of the programs that have contributed to improved student performance.
